AFP Tampa Bay Membership Scholarships
AFP Tampa Bay is excited to offer scholarship opportunities for development professionals to JOIN the Association of Fundraising Professionals Tampa Bay Chapter
The three scholarship opportunities available are:
- Chapter Support Scholarship (11 Available) - This scholarships is available to new professional, association, young professional, and small NPO member categories and covers 1 year of global and chapter membership dues. The scholarships are intended to serve young professionals, those who self-identify as diverse, those new to the professional, and all fundraisers who need these resources and opportunities that AFP has to offer that cannot currently afford membership.
- 10 Star Gold (1 Available) - AFP Tampa Bay is a 10 Star Gold Chapter awarding a free membership to a new member. This scholarship is available to new professional, associate and young professional member categories and covers 1 year of global and chapter membership dues. The Chapter Ten Star Gold Award honors those chapters who have accomplished many of the key objectives of AFP Global and encourages chapters to perform specific activities designed to increase professionalism within fundraising.
- IDEA Champion - Diversity Scholar (1 Available) - AFP Tampa Bay is an IDEA Champion Chapter awarding a free membership to a new member. This scholarship is available to new professional, associate, and young professional member categories and is awarded to an individual that supports the Tampa Bay Chapter's definition of diversity.
Application Deadline: October 31, 2025 OR when all scholarships have been awarded.
Recipient Requirements:
● Recipients must agree to serve on one AFP Tampa Bay Chapter committee.
● Recipients will be prompted to share a testimonial of their experience.
Memberships are based on a rolling calendar year - i.e.: join November - renew November.
